Every wedding - no matter how large or small - involves many details to be looked after. To make your planning easier, we have compiled this list of items you may not have considered in the excitement of creating your special day. Other questions are answered in the FAQ section. Of course, your dedicated wedding specialist is on hand to answer any other questions or concerns you may have about anything from our elegant San Diego wedding venues to hosting memorable wedding receptions in San Diego.
Seating arrangements and room set-up
Most of our San Diego wedding venues can be set up to match your plans. We offer flexible seating ranging from eight to twelve guests per table.
Dance floor and risers
These are fully mobile and adaptable to your specifications.
Ceremony Room
Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego can create a ceremony room, set in round or chapel style, if needed. The hotel offers several beautiful San Diego wedding venues for outdoor wedding ceremonies and events.

From traditional to your own unique vision, allow your wedding specialist to assist you in deciding the flow of your day.
Audio-visual equipment
Our on-site audio-visual experts can help you execute your ideas, from a slide show to special lighting. Our sound system is available to rent for $300, and includes a microphone and two speakers.
Ice Sculptures
Our team of culinary experts can create an ice sculpture to match your theme, from simple to the most elaborate ideas.

Valet and self-parking is offered at a discounted rate for your guests. Parking charges for guests are often covered by the bride and groom.
Guest rooms
Special room rates are available for your out-of-town guests. Rooms and rates are subject to availability. A complimentary deluxe guestroom for the bride and groom on their wedding night is included in each wedding package.
Wedding Cake
Our pastry chef can create the cake of your sweetest dreams. Please contact your wedding coordinator for details on our cakes and pastries. For cakes brought in from outside of the hotel, a $4.00 per person cutting and service fee will be charged.
Gold Passport
Hyatt Gold Passport points are awarded for all food and beverage purchased for your wedding at Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. Two points are awarded for each dollar spent for all events starting after 5:00p.m. Every 8,000 points earned allows one overnight stay to be used at a later date.
Guest rooms
Special room rates are available for your out-of-town guests. Rooms and rates are subject to availability. A complimentary deluxe guestroom for the bride and groom on their wedding night is included in each wedding package.

Pricing
All food and beverage must be catered through the Manchester Grand Hyatt San Diego. A 21% Service Charge will be applied to all food and beverage items. Sales tax, currently 7.75%, will be added to all food prices and miscellaneous fees. Taxes are subject to change without notification. A non-refundable advance deposit of 20% of the total event fee is required along with a signed copy of the Catering Contract. Payment in full is required prior to your event. When paying by personal check, payment must be received no later than 10-business days prior. If paying with a cashier’s check or credit card, payment is due no later than 3-business days prior. A completed credit card authorization form is required to be on file for any charges in excess of the estimated amount. Our menus and pricing are subject to change without notice until a final contract is signed. A credit card must be kept on file for any overages and/or incidental charges following the event.
Guarantee
A final number of guests is required three business days prior to your event. This number is your guarantee and may not be lowered. The hotel will prepare meals for 3% over the guaranteed count. Final charges are based on your guarantee or actual attendance, whichever is greater.
